PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of and apparatus for improving a dynamic range of video.

SOLUTION: The method of improving a dynamic range of a video input via a sensor of a video acquisition apparatus includes generating an input image while individually setting a focusing time of the sensor part for every line; and generates interpolated video by performing interpolation filtering utilizing adjacent lines having different focusing times of input video images.
