PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging display method and an imaging display device capable of shortening a delay time between imaging and display, with higher spatial resolution and dynamic resolution. SOLUTION: The imaging display device comprises an image pickup element 1 for photoelectric conversion of an optical image, a reading control part 6 which controls reading position of the image pickup element 1, an image processing part 2 which processes the image signal read out of the image pickup element 1, an image display part 4 which displays the image signal outputted from the image processing part 2, a pixel shift part 5 which shifts an observation pixel position of the image displayed on the image display part 4, a pixel shift control part 7 for controlling the pixel shift part 5, and a system control part 8 which controls the reading control part 6 and the pixel shift control part 7 so that the image signal photoelectric-converted with the image pickup element 1 is displayed deviated in pixel by the image display part 4 and the pixel shift part 5.
