PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor unit for reducing an effect of a magnetic field between adjacent rods even if the rod type linear motors are adjacently arranged. SOLUTION: The rod type linear motors 1 is provided with the rods 2 having magnets 7, and a coil 3 surrounding the rods 2. The rods 2 are linearly moved in the axial direction by the magnetic field of the magnets 7 and a current flowing in the coil 3. When the linear motor unit is configured by assembling a plurality of rod type linear motors 1, a magnetic shield plate 5 comprising a magnetic material is interposed between the adjacent rod type linear motors 1. Since magnetic force lines of the magnets 7 in the rods 2 pass through the magnetic shield plate 5, the magnetic force lines are hardly leaked toward the outside of magnetic shield plate 5.
