PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of an electric motor with brushes by enhancing general versatility of a brush holder for the difference of specifications of connector parts. SOLUTION: A pair of brush-side connection terminals electrically connected to the brushes is provided on a brush holder 25 attached in the inside of a motor yoke 15. A connector part 53 and a pinching part 52 are provided on a connector unit 42 formed separately from the brush holder 25, power supply connection terminals 71 are provided on the connector part 53, and the connector-side connection terminals electrically connected to the power supply connection terminals 71 are provided on a planar part 54 of the connector unit 42. Also, a sensor substrate 61 for detecting the rotation of an armature shaft 18 is mounted oppositely to the brush holder 25 of the planar part 54. The planar part 54 is disposed so as to overlap with the brush holder 25 axially, thereby electrically connecting the brush-side connection terminals to the connector-side connection terminals, and the pinching part 52 is sandwiched and fixed between the motor yoke 15 and a gear case 43.
