PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily determine expiration of life due to sliding wear of a metal mask, for controlling an appropriate amount of solder paste applied on a copper foil land provided on an electronic circuit board. SOLUTION: Thin wall parts 54a and 54b are provided on a metal mask 50 to face copper foil lands 24 and 34 for indicating life on an electronic circuit board 10. When they are worn to open a hole due to sliding wear of the metal mask 50, a solder paste flows and sticks to the copper foil lands 24 and 34 for indicating life.
