PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible wiring unit capable of preventing generation of a communication error in a structure where a moving head unit is wired by a flexible board. SOLUTION: When a head unit 120 is reciprocated, the bottom surface of a flexible board 210 facing a metal base 110 is changed in back-and-forth length. However, an electrical nonconductive substrate spacer 312 is always present with a predetermined thickness between the bottom surface of the flexible board 210 and the top surface of the metal base 110 facing each other. Thus, fluctuation in impedance of the flexible board 210 caused by the capacity change of the metal base 110 is maintained within a predetermined range. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
