PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building material which is free from deflection due to seasonal temperature changes. SOLUTION: The building material 1 is formed of a flat plate-shaped core 2 and facing materials 3 secured to both upper and lower surfaces of the core 2 and made of wall paper or a resin film. The core 2 is formed of a composite material obtained by mixing inclusion pieces such as wooden pieces in a base material made of a plastic.
