PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jet head which can achieve high-density arrangement of nozzle openings while preventing a liquid jet characteristic from degrading. SOLUTION: The liquid jet head has a channel formation substrate 12 in which a plurality of both of nozzle communication holes 23 communicating with the nozzle openings 13 and pressure generation chambers 11 are arranged side by side in a width direction, and whose surface has a crystal plane orientation of a surface (110); and a pressure generating means which makes the pressure generation chambers 11 generate a pressure change. The nozzle communication hole 23 has a crystal plane orientation perpendicular to the surface of the channel formation substrate 12 defined by a surface (111). At the same time, a tilting surface 40 formed by an obtuse angle to two surfaces (111) is prepared at a corner part where the two surfaces (111) of an end part of the opposite side to a liquid supply side of the nozzle communication hole 23 form acute angles.
