<p>A high-speed countercurrent chromatographic instrumentation which keeps excellent distribution, having four coiled columns formed with a spiral tube (60) wound around a frame (64) in spirals. Each of coiled columns (35 to 38) is held by a first and a second unitization members to be able to rotate on its axis, thereby a column unit being formed. The column unit is arranged within a main body of the chromatographic instrumentation such that a center of gravity is located on an orbital rotation axis. When the column unit goes a full cycle, each of the coiled columns (35 to 38) makes one orbital rotation counterclockwise and makes one autorotation clockwise. A frequency of the autorotation and a frequency of the orbital rotation are related with each other, and one autorotation per one orbital rotation is prearranged. This relationship is also established when the angular velocity is changed.</p> |
