A radio frequency identification tag for preserving tag data and a radio frequency identification system for using the radio frequency identification tag are provided to expose or change the information of an RFID tag(Radio Frequency IDentification) tag by selectively shielding the RFID tag only when a user of the RFID tag wants. An RFID tag selectively transmits tag information according to a request from an RFID reader(201) when the RFID reader transmits a tag information request signal to an RFID tag(202) which exists in a recognition range. An RFID signal controller(205) which is installed between an RFID tag chip(203) including tag information and an antenna radiator(204) transceiving an electronic wave signal controls the transmission and reception of the RFID signal according to an external signal inputted to an RFID tag to selectively transmit the tag information.
