<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To refer to information provided in a server unit on a network in an offline state without pressing the storage capacity of the memory of a cellular phone 1. <P>SOLUTION: When contents are reproduced through a home network 2, the cellular phone 1 executes optimization processing mainly for reducing an information amount to the reproduced contents and successively preserves them. Then, when reproduction is specified from a user, the optimized contents preserved in a content album are read and reproduced. By executing the optimization processing to the contents and preserving them, the inconvenience of pressing the storage capacity of the content album is prevented.
