PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconductive power transmission cable which can make a cyclic use of a coolant in a superconductive cable and can make a highly efficient cooling of a high temperature superconductive body. SOLUTION: The superconductive power transmission cable 10 provided with a high temperature superconductive body 12 wound on a former 11, two or more of coolant passages composed of a coolant outward passage 20 and a coolant return passage 21 for passing a coolant to cool down the high temperature superconductive body 12, and a heat insulating tube 14 covering the superconductive body 12 and the coolant passages 20, 21. The coolant flowing in at least one of the coolant passages is a slash nitrogen in which solid nitrogen of fine particles is contained in liquid nitrogen. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
