PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide risk of collision between a right-turn vehicle and a straightly oncoming vehicle without requiring a position detection means detecting a position of the vehicle, and to give a warning. SOLUTION: This driving support system 1 has a roadside device 2, and a vehicle-side device 3. The roadside device 2 communicates with the vehicle-side device 3, receives right-turn vehicle peculiar information, acquires vehicle individual information from a right-turn vehicle-imaging camera 5 on the roadside, and decides the risk of the straightly oncoming vehicle. When the right-turn vehicle individual information by the communication and the vehicle individual information by the camera 5 accord with each other, and when it is decided that the straightly oncoming vehicle risk is present, a risk notification instruction is transmitted to the right-turn vehicle. When the vehicle-side device 3 receives the risk notification instruction, the vehicle-side device 3 notifies a driver of the risk presence under conditions that the vehicle individual information according on the roadside and the vehicle individual information of one's own vehicle, accord with each other, and that the own vehicle is in a right-turn direction indication state.
