A wireless power transfer system with wireless power transfer for wireless devices in a personal area network and a control method thereof are provided to transceive data contactlessly and supply power by operating an input/output device with induced magnetic fields. A radio power transmission device(20) receives power from a computer(10), and transmits and receives a signal including a power signal or a data signal. A radio communication peripheral device(30) receives power from and transceive data through contactless radio power transmission with the radio power transmission device. A transmission device controller controls the signal communication between the wireless power transmission device and the computer as well ass the operation of the wireless power transmission device.
