An image forming apparatus and a control method thereof for requesting interrupt from a plurality of image processors are provided to perform one interrupt routine about a plurality of image processors. A controller receives an interrupt request from a plurality of image processors(S10). The controller generates the interrupt signal to a processor(S20). The controller generates interrupt signal among interrupt requests from a plurality of image processors. A processor performs interrupt routine based on transmitted interrupt signal(S30). The image forming apparatus completes the interrupt routine.
