<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate decrease in screen refresh speed while suppressing the occurrence of tearing. <P>SOLUTION: A display device has a control part 14 which refreshes display information of a storage part in synchronization with a vertical synchronization signal generated by a display control part (LCD controller 13) when a refresh region of a display part (LCD module 11) exceeds a predetermined amount (based on the tearing occurrence probability), and refreshes display information of the storage part out of synchronization with the vertical synchronization signal when the refresh region is smaller than the predetermined amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
