<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer receptive sheet which has high print density/image clarity and availability for photographic use etc. <P>SOLUTION: This heat transfer receptive sheet has an image receptive layer formed on at least, one side of a sheet-like support. The image receptive layer is composed mainly of a thermoplastic resin and an aqueous coating liquid containing a swelling inorganic laminar compound is used as a water retaining agent. Besides, the aspect ratio (ratio of particle average major diameter/thickness) of the swelling inorganic laminar compound, is 5 to 6,000 and the particle average major diameter is preferably 0.1 to 20 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
