<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition which is excellent in heat resistance and sealing property and suppresses production of a blister due to a pressure change when it comes in contact with carbon dioxide. <P>SOLUTION: The rubber composition comprises 100 parts by weight of EPDM, 5-120 parts by weight of carbon black, 70-150 parts by weight of bituminous fine powder and 0.2-8 parts by weight of an organic peroxide. Since crosslinked rubber obtained from the rubber composition is excellent in blistering resistance under rapid decompression of carbon dioxide which is property necessary for a sealing material for carbon dioxide refrigerant, and in compression set resistance which influences product lifetime at high temperature, it is suitable for sealing products for carbon dioxide refrigerant, such as an O ring, packing, gasket, oil seal and valve. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
