PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of the changing operation to present location screen mode. SOLUTION: This map display device, when determining (YES in S102) that the display position of a present location cursor is touched based on the information input from a touch switch in scroll mode, presents to a user whether the transition to the present location screen mode is permitted (S104). The map display device, when determining (YES in S106) that the transition to the present location screen mode is permitted in response to the this presence, performs transition to the present location screen mode (S108).
