PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven apparatus which can be prevented from enlarging in a direction along the rotating axial lines of a first rotor and a second rotor. SOLUTION: The motor-driven apparatus has a first electric motor 3 and a second electric motor 4, wherein the first electric motor 3 has a rotatable first rotor 14 and the second electric motor 4 has a rotatable second rotor 27. In the motor-driven apparatus, the first rotor 14 and the second rotor 27 are coaxially disposed, and detecting devices 72, 80 for detecting at least any one of a rotary angle, the number of rotations and a phase of a circumferential direction are provided for the first rotor 14 and the second rotor 27. In the motor-driven apparatus, the detecting devices 72, 80 are disposed between the first rotor 14 and the second rotor 27 along a rotary axial line A1 of the first rotor 14 and the second rotor 27.
