PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boundary block which can prevent dissolution and embrittlement caused by chemicals for snow melting, is harmonious with nature when arranged, can reduce costs required for manufacturing and repairment, is easy in being mounted, can reduce damage caused by corrosion etc., and can be used for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The boundary block 1 has a wooden block body 3 formed by vertically layering a plurality of wooden plates 2. The boundary block 1 has an anchor bolt through hole 4 therein. By making an anchor bolt 6 which is previously raised from and fixed to a foundation 5 penetrate the anchor bolt through hole 4 and fixing its upper part with a nut 7, the wooden block body 3 is arranged over the foundation 5 in the boundary block. A spacer 8 is partially arranged between the lower surface 3a of the wooden block body 3 and the upper surface 5a of the foundation 5 to separate them from each other. The dry state of the lower surface 3a of the wooden block body 3 is therefore structurally secured to reduce corrosion and enable a long time use. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
