Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an organic light-emitting device which comprises an anode, a layer containing an electron-accepting organic compound, a hole transport layer containing an organic compound, a light-emitting layer containing a polymer compound and a cathode in this order in such a manner that the layer containing an electron-accepting organic compound is in contact with the anode and the hole transport layer. This method for manufacturing an organic light-emitting device is characterized in that the layer containing an electron-accepting organic compound is obtained by forming a film with a composition containing the electron-accepting organic compound and an organic solvent and then melting the thus-formed film.
