The main body of the pneumatic spring has a piezoelectric device (16) producing electrical energy. This (16) comprises a number of piezoelectric fibers embedded in elastomeric material. The fibers are connected to common terminals and are made from piezoelectric ceramic. Their diameters are 50-200 mu m. Their lengths are up to 5 mm. The pneumatic spring is a rolling bellows air spring. This includes a cover (6) and bellows (10) with a rolling fold (12) and piston rolling region (8).
