<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell having high reliability, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: This is the fuel cell 10 in which single cells 100 having a structure of pinching a membrane electrode assembly 120, gas diffusion layers 130, 140 arranged on both faces of the membrane electrode assembly, and spacers 170, 180 surrounding the gas diffusion layers by a pair of separators 150, 160 are laminated in a plurality of numbers, it has seal grooves 154, 157, 164 which are formed in one of contact faces of members and in which seal materials 190, 191, 192 are arranged, and relief grooves 155, 158, 165 communicated with the seal grooves, and one part of the seal material is protruded into the relief groove. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
