<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering an inorganic substance from a plastic capable of separating and recovering independently glass fibers from a plastic formed article containing the glass fibers and calcium carbonate. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recovering the inorganic substance from the plastic comprises a process (A) in which the plastic formed article comprising the glass fibers and calcium carbonate is treated with a sub-critical fluid, and solid liquid separation of this treated substance is performed to recover the glass fibers and calcium carbonate, a process (B) in which the recovered glass fibers and calcium carbonate are heated at a temperature where calcium carbonate is decarboxylated to form calcium oxide from the calcium carbonate, and a process (C) in which the glass fibers, the calcium oxide and water are mixed to dissolve the calcium oxide into water, and solid liquid separation of this is performed to recover the glass fibers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
