<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception data management method and apparatus for suppressing unnecessary retransmission even when reception data are double received because of protocol reset or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In a reception data management method for a data transmission protocol by which retransmission is requested when data are received to which a sequence number is imparted outside a reception window in a predetermined size that is set forward, in accordance with an order indicated by sequence numbers, with an expected sequence number indicating a sequence number of data expected to be next received according to the order as a reference, when data are received to which a sequence number is imparted that is included in a data discarding range set within a predetermined range backwardly to the order with the expected sequence number as a reference, retransmission is not requested. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
