PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for eliminating image deterioration generated when both an FRC (Frame Rate Control) display system and an offset canceler are used. SOLUTION: In a driving circuit for a display device, the optimum operational period is determined among operational periods of a plurality of offset cancelers according to a distribution state of a gradation voltage level for every pixel generated by FRC processing. Since emphasis of luminance change in the surface of FRC display and luminance difference in the surface caused by operation of the offset canceler can be avoided, image quality deterioration can be eliminated.
