PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, capable of reducing the probability that a non-layered end part that is an end part of one glass substrate of the display device on which the other glass substrate is not laminated is broken by a laminating directional external force. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 10 comprises a laminated body 10A including glass substrates 20 and 16 and an internal frame 28 supporting it. A polarizing plate 22 is provided on a surface S1 that is one main surface of the glass substrate 20, a partial area of a surface S2 that is one main surface of the glass substrate 15 is opposed to a surface S3 that is the other main surface of the glass substrate 20 through a liquid crystal member 18, and a liquid crystal controlling driver 26 is provided in a non-opposed area that is an end part of the surface S2 not opposed to the surface S3. The internal frame 28 includes a surface S5 opposed to a surface S4 that is the other main surface of the glass substrate 16 through a polarizing plate 14, and a cutout N1 is formed at the non-opposed area-side end part of the fifth surface.
