PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Braille embosser for easily creating a Braille medium readable by people in a plurality of linguistic areas. SOLUTION: A label preparing device 1 for preparing a label by embossing Braille patterns on a tape T comprises: a phrase selection program 224 for selecting character information for embossing Braille; a transcribing means for transcribing the character information selected by the phrase selection program 224 into a plurality of Braille patterns corresponding to a plurality of languages; and a Braille embossing section 150 embossing a plurality of Braille patterns on the tape T.
