PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make long-distance wireless communication possible by avoiding interference by propagation time when data are transceived, and continuing the wireless communication. SOLUTION: In a communication method which performs the wireless communications by a time division multiple access (TDMA) system, a first communication unit controls a time slot length used in the wireless communication with a second communication unit, and transmits the time slot length information to the second communication unit when the first communication unit discriminates that a value of a length to the second communication unit which is acquired, overs a predetermined value, and discriminates that the wireless communication with the second communication unit continues. The second communication unit is characterized to receive the time slot length information transmitted from the first communication unit, and control the time slot length used by the wireless communication with the first communication unit based on the received information.
