PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which has high color purity and high luminous efficiency, and is superior in durability by finding the best combination of a host material and a dopant material. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the light-emitting device which has at least a light-emission layer between a positive electrode and a negative electrode, the light-emitting device containing a pyrene compound having a specified structure and a boron complex having a bis(azinyl)azene skeleton having a specified structure.
