PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a timepiece having a satisfactory durability. SOLUTION: The timepiece 1 includes a glass cover part 110 having a windproof glass 112; a case back 120 opposed to the glass cover part 110; an approximately tubular case body part 130 held between the glass cover part 110 and the case back 120; and a movement 200 provided for a space surrounded by the glass cover part 110, the case back 120, and the case body part 130 for displaying time. The case body part 130 is provided with a metal part 131 made of a metal material approximately into a ring shape, connected to the movement 200 at a prescribe position, and provided with a through hole 131A for inserting a winding crown 160 capable of operating and inputting the content of the movement of the movement 200; a first approximately tubular glass part 132 made of glass and provided between the metal part 131 and the glass cover part 110; and a second approximately tubular glass part 133 made of glass and provided between the metal part 131 and the case back 120.
