PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely and correctly place all component members constituting a selected power transmission channel. SOLUTION: An internal transmission hub is equipped with a hub spindle, a drive body, a hub shell, a power transmission mechanism and a shift control mechanism. The drive body and the hub shell are supported on the hub spindle rotatably. The power transmission mechanism is arranged between the drive body and the hub shell and transmits the torque to the hub shell from the drive body. The shift control mechanism has a shift control member and a positioning member. The shift control member is relatively movable in the direction of rotation to a plurality of positions to the hub spindle. Each position corresponds to one of a plurality of selected power transmission channels of the power transfer mechanism. The positioning member is inhibited from moving in the direction of rotation relatively to the hub spindle, and is urged to be in contact with the shift control member. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
