PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration dumping device and its method which are capable of readily reducing vibrations generated in a driving mechanism such as an engine, a motor or the like. SOLUTION: Forced vibrations generated from a boxy member 900 (a motor, a gear, an engine or the like) of a vibration damping device 100 are reduced by vibration absorbers 310, 340, 410 having different six degrees of freedom. These three vibration absorbers 310, 340, 410 are arranged not in alignment with one another with respect to planes 910, 920, 930 in the 3D direction in the boxy member 900.
