PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recorder which can obtain a desired conveyance state even when a recording medium expands due to granting of an ink or the recording medium escapes from a conveying roller and pinch roller and can perform recording without a fault arising in the recording medium. SOLUTION: The ink-jet recorder is equipped with a detection mechanism for detecting the time when the aft end of the recording medium escapes from the conveying roller in advance. The circumferential speed of a discharge roller is made lower by a control part before the time detected by the detection mechanism. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
