PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluidized bet heat-treatment furnace and a controlling method therefor with which the stable heat-treatment can be performed, since a heat transfer from the fluidized bed to a material to be treated is fixed. SOLUTION: In the fluidized bed heat-treatment furnace 1 in which solid grains are fluidized with gas, a rod member 5 is inserted into the fluidized bed, and the heat-treatment is performed, a plurality of gas supplying tubes 6 for combustion and gas supplying tubes 7 for fluidizing, are fitted to the lower part of the furnace body 1. In the end parts of the gas supplying tubes 6, 7, one end is joined to the furnace body side wall by closing the opening parts of the tube ends at one side, and the other end is connected to the respective gas supplying systems installed at the outside of the furnace. To the upper surfaces of the gas supplying tubes, the plurality of distribution tubes 14, 15 extended to the upper part are fitted and the gas for combustion and the gas for fluidizing, are fed into the furnace from the upper end parts of the distribution tubes and the combustion is performed by mixing the gas for combustion and the gas for fluidizing in the furnace.
