THE METHOD FOR QUANTITATIVE ANAYLSIS OF USS-P AND POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL

A method for analyzing quantitatively the concentration of USS-P and a polyethylene-based organic materials in a plating solution is provided to reduce the time required for analysis, thereby decreasing the time required for the correction of USS-P concentration and reducing the error of analysis. A method for analyzing quantitatively the concentration of USS-P and a polyethylene-based organic materials in a plating solution comprises the steps of collecting a sample solution from a plating bath; adding a chromogenic agent and an extraction solvent to the sample solution; extracting an organic layer from the sample solution; measuring the absorbance of the separated organic layer; and calculating the concentration of USS-P and a polyethylene-based organic materials in the plating solution by using the absorbance.
