<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speaker array system, a signal processing method, and a program that can control the extent of relaxation of boundary conditions corresponding to a plurality of sound beams according to sound output states of the respective sound beams. <P>SOLUTION: The speaker array system 1 applies window functions, determined based upon orientations and path lengths of sound beams to be output by channels, to amplification units corresponding to the channels, amplifies audio signals with amplification factors set based upon the window functions, and adds audio signals of the respective channels together by speakers to output sum signals from the respective speakers, thereby outputting sound beams having suitable orientation characteristics by the channels, i.e. differing in extent of relaxation of boundary conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
