MOVING PICTURE STORAGE AND DISTRIBUTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving picture storage and distribution method whereby a video phone image from a video phone terminal received via a PSTN can be browsed on the Internet as a moving picture.

SOLUTION: In the moving picture storage and distribution method for storing a video image received via the public switched telephone network and distributing the image via the Internet as the moving picture data, a computer includes: a video recording step of recording and storing the video image to a prescribed video recording area while receiving the video image transmitted from the video phone via the public switched telephone network; a video image/moving picture conversion step of converting the video image recorded in the video recording step into the moving picture data of a digital form; and a moving picture distribution step of distributing the moving picture data via the Internet to a storage area capable of being opened into public on the Internet.
