PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preservation method of a biomaterial that achieves sufficient suppression of oxidation by preservation and sufficient reduction of cell injuries. SOLUTION: The preservation method of a biomaterial comprises a simultaneous voltage application step for simultaneously applying a minus direct voltage and an alternating voltage to the biomaterial. The simultaneous voltage application step preferably applies a voltage indirectly to the biomaterial by holding the biomaterial in a holder enclosing at least the circumference of the biomaterial and arranging a voltage application plate, to which a minus direct voltage and an alternating voltage are superimposingly applied, along one surface of the outside of the holder.
