PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot wax using polyethylene for a sole of a ski, a snowboard and the like though conventionally hot wax used for a sole of a ski, a snowboard and the like is principally consists of paraffin. SOLUTION: When polyethylene having excellent sliding performance and strength is used for the hot wax, a coefficient of friction of the sole is reduced, and sliding performance of the ski, the snowboard, a snow scoot, and the like can be improved.
