摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial-gap type rotating machine capable of preventing demagnetization. SOLUTION: A first equivalent air gap (b; 2×a) between the winding magnetic cores 32 adjacent to each other in a circumferential direction centered at a rotary shaft P is smaller than a value of two times a second equivalent air gap between the winding magnetic cores 12, 32 in an extension direction of the rotary shaft P. More specifically, the first equivalent air gap is about two times as large as the first air gap between a stator 30 and a rotor 20. The second equivalent air gap is about the same as the sum of the size of two times the first air gap, the size of two times the second air gap between the stator 10 and the rotor 20 and the thickness of a permanent magnet 21 in a direction parallel to the rotary shaft P. Accordingly, a magnetic flux exhibited by the armature winding 33 is transmitted to an adjacent winding magnetic core 32 via the first equivalent air gap, and the magnetic flux penetrating through the permanent magnet 21 can be demagnetized.
