PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate generation of signals corresponding to horizontal and vertical synchronization signals associated with a data enable signal and a pixel clock. SOLUTION: Direct video data connections are formed from a host processor 30 to a display board 32 having a matrix type display 34 such as an LCD display, and a display driver 36 passing image data from the host processor 30 to the display driver 36.
