PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a urine sensor used for a urine receiver capable of sucking urine automatically. SOLUTION: The urine receiver 102 has a urine sensor 118 having a pair of electrodes 218a, 218b formed on the upper surface of a thermoplastic synthetic resin film 260 and a circuit 250 with high electric resistance connected to respective ends of the electrodes 218a, 218b, and the pair of electrodes 218a, 218b is covered with an insulative coating 170. The film 260 has an opening 171 which splits the width of the film into halves; each of the electrodes 218a, 218b is extended at both sides of the opening 170 in the longitudinal direction of the film 260, and the circuit 250 is extended between each of the electrodes 218a, 218b and the edge of the opening 171 in the longitudinal direction. The electrodes (218a, 218b) are exposed at a plurality of through-holes 169a, 169b formed in the insulative coating 170. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
