A product warming apparatus with at least one product holding container ( 12) having a bottom surface (22). An enclosure (10) includes at least one op ening (11) configured to receive the product holding container. A heat radia ting plate (18) is provided in thermal communication with and configured to receive heat from a heating element (16). The heat radiating plate includes a top surface (20) disposed adjacent the bottom surface (22) of the product holding container with the top surface of the heat radiating plate being spa ced apart from the bottom surface of the product holding container to define a gap (24) therebetween. A thermostatic controller (26) is in thermal commu nication with the heat radiating plate for controlling a flow of heat to the heating element (16).
