<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet binder including a cationic acrylic emulsion practically extremely advantageous for preparation of a recording sheet which has high printing density, is clear, is excellent in resolution, especially in water resistance, therefore, has satisfactory image storage property and, moreover, hardly causes falling of adsorbent such as silica. <P>SOLUTION: The recording sheet binder for white color pigment layer includes the cationic acrylic emulsion of a copolymer having a glass transition temperature of -40 to 80°C and a particle size of 50 to 300 nm obtained by emulsifying and polymerizing a monomer mixture selected from a group comprising (meth)acrylic esters besides amino group-containing (meth)acrylic monomer by using alkyl benzyl ammonium chloride and/or EO adduct of alkyl ammonium chloride having added EO of 2 to 15 moles as a cationic acryl emulsion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
