<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the sealing performance of a pipe joint for a long period of time, and to facilitate and ensure the confirmation of the insertion of a pipe in an insertion type joint for connecting pipes. <P>SOLUTION: In the insertion type joint 1 including a joint body 10 including a through-hole 16 in which a pipe T is inserted, a seal member 42 arranged in the through-hole 16, and a come-off prevention member 50 preventing the pipe T from coming off from the joint body 10, the seal member 42 is arranged at the deep side of the joint body 10 deeper than the come-off prevention member 50, a thick wall 42a abutting on the inner circumference surface of the through-hole 16 and a thin wall 42b continuing from the thick wall 42a and not abutting on the inner circumference surface of the through-hole 16 are included, the thin wall 42b is formed to be arranged at the deep side of the joint body 10, and a compression ring 70 pressing the thin wall 42b in a contraction direction is provided at the outer circumference of the thin wall 42b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
