<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition suitable for use in inkjet recordings, which is excellent in the dispersibility of fine pigments and its stability, which can form a high-quality image having a clear tone and a high tinctorial power and which can be cured by irradiation of active rays; to provide an image recording method using the ink composition; and to provide printed matter using the ink composition. <P>SOLUTION: The ink composition contains at least a polymerizable compound, a pigment and a polymer represented by general formula (1) (wherein R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each a monovalent substituent; R<SP>3</SP>is an (m+n)-valent organic linking group; R<SP>4</SP>is a single bond or an (a+1)-valent organic linking group; R<SP>5</SP>is a single bond or a divalent organic linking group; a is 1-10; m is 1-8; n is 2-9; m+n is 3-10; P is a polymer skeleton; and m-pieces of P may be the same or different). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
