<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sufficiently cost-reduced and light-weighted photoelectric conversion device having an extremely reduced gap between a crystal semiconductor particle and an opening of a light reflecting member, thereby remarkably reducing a photoelectric conversion loss to efficiency improve the photoelectric conversion. <P>SOLUTION: The photoelectric conversion device is provided with a number of spherical crystal semiconductor particles 2 of a first conductive type joined on to one main surface of a conductive substrate 1 and having a semiconductor section 3 of a second conductive type formed on a surface layer thereof, an insulating layer 4 formed among the crystal semiconductor particles 2 on the one main surface of the conductive substrate 1 in such a manner that upper portions of the crystal semiconductor particles 2 are exposed, a translucent conductive layer 5 formed on the upper portions of the crystal semiconductor particles 2 and the insulating layer 4, and a light reflective member 7 disposed on the translucent conductive layer 5 on the insulating layer 4 and having concave mirror-shaped light reflecting surfaces 8 having formed at lower ends thereof openings of exposing the crystal semiconductor particles 2.
