PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swab feeder capable of surely feeding swabs one by one downward into a container. SOLUTION: This swab feeder for taking out swabs one by one and feeding them to a predetermined portion comprises: a storage device 10 for storing the swabs P at a take-out position for taking out and a take-out device 20 for taking out the swabs one by one from the storage device. The storage device 10 comprises a storage part 11 for storing the swabs, a takeout port 12 for so positioning the swabs that only one of the swabs can be taken out, and a transfer pipe 13 with such an inner diameter that allows the swabs to be arranged in one row and fed toward the takeout port by connecting the storage part to the takeout port. The takeout device 20 comprises a suction member 25 for sucking and taking out the swab at the takeout port from the takeout port and a moving means for moving the suction member to the predetermined position.
